Fragmenta Pisonis, Vol. 1: Latin Poetry from the Pisoverse

This collection of poetry is inspired by scenes and characters from the Pisoverse—that is, from the world of Rufus Lutulentus, Rufus et Arma Atra, Agrippina, Mater Fortis, and the forthcoming novella, Drusilla).

Fragmenta Pisonis contains just 96 unique words (excluding names, different forms of words, and meaning established within the text), and features 50 new lines of poetry in dactylic hexameter, hendecyllables, and scazon (i.e., limping iambics)!

Fragmenta Pisonis can be used as a transition to the novella Piso Ille Poetulus, or as additional reading for students comfortable with poetry having read the novella already.
